
"The Straight of Georgia" by Paul Nickless
Two paintbrushes are better than one in Fire and Water at Art Works Gallery (Jan. 10 to Feb. 18). The exhibit showcases the landscapes of minimalist painter Corrinne Wolcoski and abstract expressionist Paul Nickless, whose striking pieces are created using traditional paint techniques and pallet knives (“The Strait of Georgia,” pictured).
