AVENUE AND DAVENPORT

This posh area just north of Yorkville is known to locals as “Ave. and Dav.” Well-stocked, fragrant flower shops, high-end boutiques, antique shops, intimate restaurants and spas characterize the area. To the northwest lies Casa Loma, the city’s Gothic revival-style castle with 98 rooms, passageways and towers, where movies like Cocktail, X-Men and The Love Guru were filmed in part. Next door to Casa Loma is the Spadina Museum, a historic mansion built in 1886 with a glorious garden. Avenue Road to Spadina Road, Lowther Avenue to Austin Terrace.
