It’s easy riding along paved roads from town to Lake Edith, Lake Annette and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. A mellow off-road alternative in the same area is Trail 7 between Old Fort Point and Maligne Canyon along the Athabasca River. At the route’s eastern edge, Maligne Canyon is closed to cycling between 5th and 1st Bridges, so walk your bike one way along the lovely interpretive trail and bike back via Maligne Lake Rd.
