Toronto’s own Paul Tracy and Montreal-based Alex Tagliani take on the twisting track against defending champion Dario Franchitti and drivers from as far as England and New Zealand. This IndyCar Series race features a 2.824 km street circuit that laps along Lake Shore Boulevard. MARCH 13 Both daredevils and mellow motorists who prefer to watch the action from afar should kick into high gear and zoom off to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross for its only international stop. The principal off-road motorcycle racing series promises to thrill enthusiasts with drivers tearing across the track at high speeds while evading man-made obstacles. July Hot Date—Indy Racing Returns to Toronto

Honda IndyJuly 10 to 12 After going race-less last summer, fans can gear up for the return of the new and improved Honda Indy. Catch Canadian-born former Champ Car World Series victor Paul Tracy compete against other pro drivers of the Indy Racing League—including past series winners Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon, Dario Franchitti and 2007 title holder Will Power—on the winding street circuit of Exhibition Place.
