Where To Watch The 2012 Olympic Games

Kick off the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in true British style at the Olympic Oval London Lounge at the University of Calgary campus. The main-level Oval Lounge has been converted to a TV-viewing arena, July 27 through Aug 12. The public is invited to head over to the lounge and cheer on our athletes as they go for the gold.

The venue is holding Tea-Time at Two, a London-themed party, during the opening ceremonies on Friday, 2 pm until 4 pm, with tasty British shortbread, scones and other appetizers will be served. Admission is free.

The games will also be shown daily (9 am – 9 pm weekdays and 10 am – 5 pm weekends) on a massive state-of-the-art LED screen at the Stephen Avenue Celebration Site, located on Eighth Avenue between Second Street and Third Street SW. Admission is free.
