APRIL 10 TO 22 The red carpet rolls out for young cinephiles as the TIFF Kids Film Festival returns for nearly two weeks of family-friendly movies and activities. Formerly called Sprockets, this year’s event screens such flicks as Stay!, the story of an adolescent Iraqi immigrant in the Netherlands—and Gattu, which tells of an Indian orphan’s big ambitions. In addition to films, games and workshops that help children find their creative spark, the digiPlaySpace enables experimentation with the latest technologies and features an interactive “Funky Forest” to help teach kids about environmental issues.
