The Chelsea Pub Exudes Rustic Charm

Ottawa-Restaurant-Chelsea-Pub

The Chelsea Pub, just north of downtown Ottawa, is a picturesque spot for a pint and meal.

Enveloped by the beautiful Gatineau Hills, the Chelsea Pub — just a short 15-minute drive from downtown Ottawa — is situated in one of the most ideal areas to sit back and enjoy a pint. Their building was originally one of the first hotels built in Old Chelsea, QC, circa 1875. Ownership and use of the building changed several times over the past century, before its rebranding in 2006 as the Chelsea Pub. The mixed fare on the menu is a big step above traditional pub food, with options such as salmon tartare and duck confit grilled cheese. They also serve some of the best Québec microbrews to pair with your meal. And the pub recently underwent a renovation that enlivens its already warm atmosphere. A perfect choice for a post-Gatineau Park hike.
