Step back in time and board the Empress of Ireland! Beginning May 30, the once-splendid ocean liner that sank into the St. Lawrence River on May 29, 1914 will be aground and inside the Canadian Museum of History for the world to see. The exhibit will feature chilling artifacts from the maritime disaster, including the ship’s bell and the memoir of an eight-year-old survivor.
