MAR 11-24. Manitoba is the muse for Winnipegger Judith St. Germain’s moving and majestic images. Playing with shadow, light and landscape, the award-winning photographer freezes extraordinary moments in time. St. Germain captures the mystery of sunsets, sunrises and moonlit wheat fields and forests—typical Manitoba scenes. Her captivating pieces, like Moon Glow, Manitoba (pictured), take on an other-worldly and enigmatic aura. Montages and an infrared black and white technique also give a painting quality to her work. The show launches with a reception Mar 11 from 1 pm-4 pm. Medea Gallery, 132 Osborne St, 204-453-1115.
