Robson Street
Where Profile
Vancouver’s famous shopping stretch reaches west from Granville into the densely populated West End. While the street runs from Stanley Park to BC Place Stadium, it’s this cluster of designer fashion and footwear boutiques, upscale coffee shops and international eateries that gives Robson its vibrant buzz, day and night. Brand-name stores rub shoulders with one-of-a-kind specialists in collectables, shoes, art and souvenirs. Most stores stay open late. It’s a good street for strolling, watching people and meeting friends. The Vancouver Art Gallery fronts Robson Square. On its south side are the Law Courts, designed by noted local architect Arthur Erickson.
