Mooney’s Bay
In winter, the fully-equipped cross-country ski centre provides lessons for skiers of all levels, rentals, heated washrooms, hot waxing irons, brushes, benches, and more. 5 km of trails are groomed for both skate and classic. Some trails are lit for night skiing. Open mid-December to early March, weather-permitting. Day pass: $2.50.

The bay holds a wide, sandy beach in summer where visitors can rent volleyball nets and balls. Grounds with picnic tables, change rooms, a play area, and a snack bar in summer. It is also the site of the annual HOPE volleyball event in July.
