At Teatro fresh is the rule. We use fresh local ingredients and, when possible, fly culinary specialties in from around the world. Teatro is the only restaurant in Calgary with an Olive Oil Company as a subsidiary, creating our own olive oil at the family farm
in Italy. We also make our own bread, our own pasta, our own bruschetta, and our own chocolates. All you have to make is a reservation.
The ambience of Teatro is perfect for romantic evenings or important business lunches. Fine Carrara marble, imported tile, distinctive fabrics and unique accessories make a wonderful first impression. Many of the elements of the décor are highly personal, chosen by Dario himself on his travels.
A beautiful collection of fine Canadian art also contributes to the character of Teatro. As does our location – the 1911 Dominion Bank Building – a beautiful example of Beaux-Arts Classicism and Neo-Classical Revival architecture.
