Innovative, informative and entertaining centre with hundreds of interactive, hands-on exhibits. Explore botany, physics, geology, sports, communication, the human body and the environment. The award-winning KidSpark allows kids age eight and under to discover through play, from building a roller coaster and learning what’s growing inside and outside of your body to exploring design and learning math and nutrition at a market. Teenagers and young adults learn through innovation at the Weston Family Innovation Centre, where they can express their views on the latest scientific discoveries, play a word harp and make music from junk. The Omnimax Theatre is a 24 m (79 ft.) dome screen with state-of-the-art wraparound sound. Open daily. Adults $20, seniors/youth $16, kids (4-12) $13. Imax film: adults $13, seniors/youth/kids $9.

Created as a Centennial project - our official name is the "Centennial Centre of Science and Technology" - the Ontario Science Centre has attracted 39 million visitors since our opening in September 1969.


The Science Centre's reach extends beyond the building Raymond Moriyama designed: we market our innovative exhibits and expertise internationally, from Trinidad to Turkey to Thailand.
