Since 1968, the elegant and comfortable Florentine Court has been a fixture on the Toronto dining scene. Founder and owner Jimmy LoPresti has built an impressive wine cellar, featuring a long list of personally selected Italian wines. Choose from a wide selection of Amarone’s, Barolo’s, Brunello’s and Chianti’s and many more to complement the fine food.


The menu features a wonderful variety of authentic Italian dishes, inspired by the Florentines and prepared with only the finest ingredients. There are many appetizers to choose from including an assortment of antipasti. Delectable entrees such as homemade pastas, fresh scaloppine in many variations such as agro dolce (Sweet & Sour) served with fresh mangos or Al Barolo wine sauce with portobello mushrooms and much more. Also on the menu, tender breast of chicken, extra thick veal chops, savoury rack of lamb, aged Black Angus steaks and seafood. For an unforgettable dessert experience do not to miss the famous Florentine Trifle! This dish is always a conversation piece, served in a large brandy snifter it is perfect for sharing although you may not want to!
