The collection has footwear dating back 4,500 years. Displays shoes through the ages as fashion statements and indicators of social status, tribal origin and religion. The permanent flagship exhibit All About Shoes: Footwear Through the Ages examines the facets of footwear and its evolution through the ages, including how it was made and with what materials. See the shoes of Michael Jordan, Ella Fitzgerald, Farrah Fawcet, Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Lauren Bacall, Jimmy Stewart, Ava Gardner and Eminem. The Star Turns exhibit includes the shoes of Marilyn Monroe, Tiger Woods, Pablo Picasso and Terry Fox. Tue.-Sun.
