See world-class fossils, mammals, birds, archaeology, marine life and exquisite First Nations Mi'kmaq porcupine quillwork on bark. Live displays of amphibians, reptiles, bee colony, sea-life tanks and Gus, an 89-year-old tortoise will fascinate children. In summer, enjoy The Butterfly House. Visiting exhibitions change often. Gift shop with nature theme. Pay parking and picnic area. Open daily, May 1 to October 31; closed Monday otherwise. Visit: one to two hours. Admission charged.
