The architectural features of Edmonton's City Hall include a glass pyramid peak and soaring friendship tower with a 40,000-pound, 23-bell carillon that can play up to 99 melodies. An expansive collection of art by Alberta artists is on display. Visitors are welcome at the many activities held here throughout the year; for instance, take a dip in the wading pool on a hot summer day or go skating during the winter. Please call to confirm specific events and activities. Admission is free. Mon - Fri 7 am - 10 pm; Sat 9 am - 5 pm; Sun & holidays 11 am - 5 pm.
