This premier heritage building is a must-see for those interested in architecture, politics, and history. Completed in 1912, the building sits in the heart of downtown Edmonton and overlooks the river valley. The building features guided tours, a wading pool, an outside skating rink in winter, and a gift shop. Free Admission. Open year-round. May 1-Oct 15: Tours every hour from 9 am - 12 pm and every half-hour from 12:30 pm, last tour 4 pm. Oct 16-Apr 30: Mon - Fri tours every hour from 9 am; last tour 3 pm; Sat - Sun & holiday tours every hour from 12 pm, last tour 4 pm. Tours not available on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, or Good Friday.
