Canada’s longest and highest guided aerial tramway tour goes to 2300 m (7500 ft) on Whistlers Mtn. See 6 mountain ranges, Mt Robson (highest in the Canadian Rockies), glacier lakes, Athabasca and Miette rivers and Jasper townsite. Boardwalk and summit trails. Two stores. Casual dining at the top in glass enclosed Treeline Restaurant. Jasper Tramway is the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada and the only guided aerial ropeway in the Canadian Rockies. Beginning at an elevation of 1304 metres (4279 ft), guests are accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide during the seven minute trip to the Upper Station located at 2277 metres (7472 ft) above sea level. Stop in at The Treeline Restaurant (2286 meters) for a cozy retreat and stunning views of six mountain ranges, glacial fed lakes, the Athabasca river and the scenic mountain town-site of Jasper.
