Covering three square blocks, this collection of restored heritage buildings includes stone warehouses built to hold privateers’ booty at the turn of the 18th century. The area was nearly lost to urban renewal but in 1963 was designated a National Historic Site. Cobbled courtyards and waterfront boardwalks offer an array of shops, cafés and pubs. Open daily.
