How did you become a jewellery designer?
By accident, as originally I went to Sheridan College to study classical animation, but I’ve always been a crafty person even as a kid. For years I made jewellery as gifts before I got serious about starting [my jewellery line] Odd Bird as a business. I am completely self-taught with my jewellery making. What do you draw inspiration from?
I’m a big animal lover so naturally I create a lot of pieces with animals. The kind of person who wears my jewellery. . . wants to wear something different than the rest to stand out from the flock!
