In a story that spans several decades, follow the trials and tribulations of Celie, a young black woman living in rural Georgia during the 1930s. From rich gospel to swinging jazz and soulful blues numbers, the Grammy-nominated score flies through Celie’s life as she learns how to love herself and others.
