Western Canada’s oldest natural history museum. The elegant 1903 building and Victorian displays that date from 1860 offer an enchanting way to see Banff’s mammals, birds, insects and other curiosities. Interpreters, reading room and hands-on discovery room. May 15-Sept 30 10 am-6 pm; Oct 1-May 14 1-5 pm; closed Dec 25. $3.90, sen $3.40, 6-16 $1.90, family $9.80. Guided tour free with admission: daily 3 pm May 15-Sept 30; Sat/Sun 2:30 pm Oct-May 14.
