Two Canadian brothers have launched a website that helps travellers get from the airport to their hotel hassle free. The site, ihatetaxis.com, gives users information on transportation options at destinations around the world, and typical scams to avoid.

An underground mall connected to the Louvre is about to welcome McDonald’s into their food court. The mall—Carrousel du Louvre—is managed by a private company, which means the museum has no power to veto potential tenants.

Canadian lies about kidnapping in Mexico

The RCMP have confirmed that a Canadian’s story about being kidnapped in Cancun and thrown into a lagoon full of crocodiles is untrue.  The man, a 20-year-old from Richmond, BC, was simply urinating into the lagoon in Cancun when he was attacked.
