TJ Dawe isn’t a household name—yet. But the Vancouver actor, playwright and monologist is something of a star on the Fringe Festival circuit, with a string of funny yet insightful one-man shows. By popular demand, he returns to the Firehall Arts Centre Jan. 14 to 25 with Medicine, which uses his trademark self-deprecating humour to delve into his experiences with Dr. Gabor Maté, therapy and the psychotropic plant ayahuasca. Follow Dawe on his enlightening journey, and you might just learn something about yourself, too.
