Happy hour in Vancouver happens on the plate as much as in the glass, particularly when it comes to oysters. From Kusshi, Ship’s Point and Sinku to Kumamoto, Pearl Bay and the exotic Royal Courtesan (from Cortes Island), there’s no shortage of different strains to tempt. Pack into always-buzzing Joe Fortes or Granville Street’s The Fish Shack for “buck a shuck.” Or head to Commercial Drive’s Merchant’s Oyster Bar or Chinatown’s Oyster Express for an equally enticing selection.
