This summer, Caesar lovers swap the traditional mixed drink for something a little more patriotic. As part of their annual Coast-to-Coast Caesar Toast, Mott’s Clamato released 11 offbeat Caesar recipes spotlighting Canada’s provinces and territories. These regionally themed drinks were designed by Clint Pattemore, the Alberta-born Caesar mixing officer for Mott’s Clamato. Pattemore’s take on BC features oyster sauce, Siracha and Chinese five-spice in a nod to the province’s Asian influences. In place of the celery stick, a salmon jerky garnish adds West Coast flair.—Karina Palmitesta
