Celts on the Creek events kick-off CelticFest celebrations
You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy CelticFest Vancouver (Mar. 9 to 17), as long as you can party like the Irish. Two of the most popular events are both free and family-friendly: Celts on the Creek (pictured), an afternoon of music, dancing, food and face-painting, Mar. 9 at the Village on False Creek; and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which winds around downtown Mar. 17.
