Vancouver has a special visitor this summer. Victoria’s Royal BC Museum opened a satellite location to show Curious (to Sep. 3), a collection of items from the museum archives, including bottled specimens and Emily Carr paintings. In the game “Artifact | Artifiction”, visitors can guess if a curator’s statement is true or false. The card for the red object (pictured) reads: “The oil and gas industry in northern BC used plugs like this to seal seismic test holes.” We won’t give you the right answer—go see the exhibit to find out.—Kristina Urquhart
