If you’ve ever tried on someone else’s glasses—just to see—and then marvelled at how the world looks, this exhibit is for you. Performance and visual artist Bruce Horak is legally blind, and The Way I See It gives us a peek through his unique lens. During his performance show Assassinating Thomson, in the adjacent theatre, Horak paints a live portrait of an audience member. The portraits are meant to be viewed through his—very high prescription—glasses with one eye shut. Now that’s perspective. See it all at Firehall Arts Centre Gallery, Oct. 9 to 27.
