Birds of a feather flock to Edible Canada at the Market for delectable bites from the themed summer takeout window. Following in the footsteps of last year’s hard-to-beat all-bacon menu, the uber-local bistro introduced a menu of duck-fat fried doughnuts, or Little Duckers. Dig into a plate of the Nutty Duckers, drizzled with Fraser Valley honey and Agassiz hazelnuts—a tribute to the 100-mile diet. Or really indulge with the Chubs MaGrubs for a sweet treat filled with Quebec Rougie foie gras and finished with sea-salted caramel sauce. One thing’s certain: a plate of these innovative indulgences won’t have anyone eating like a bird.
