No visitor should go to P.E.I. without sampling the local, legendary potatoes. Located in the middle of the city, next to the harbour, the Chip Shack offers “handcut island fries” that come on their own or alongside main dishes, like fish and chips. While in the city, also look for the famous chocolate-covered COW chips sold at the nearby Anne of Green Gables Chocolates store.
