Alas, the Negotiator, Priceline.com’s character who helps you get “the Best Price, Guaranteed”, is no more. Priceline has killed (literally) the five-year-old character, played by William Shatner.

Never fear, however; Shatner’s 14-year relationship with Priceline hasn’t gone up in flames. The company is just transitioning to a new ad campaign that focuses on the non-bidding hotel booking aspect of the travel discounter’s website.
Fittingly, the Negotiator’s last words were, “Save yourself…some money.”
