Your Guide to the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton

It’s that time of year… when Capital City goes Cowboy! Ever since 1974 when the first Canadian Finals Rodeo took place, cowgirls and cowboys from across North America converge in Edmonton every fall to compete in Canada’s greatest rodeo. It’s a six-day celebration full of fans, throbbing music, exhilarating opening acts, and of course, the rodeo competitors who have come to town to put it all on the line against some of the best rodeo stock in the world. On the line is a cash prize of $1,470,000, a chance at sponsorship endorsements, and, the most coveted prize of all, the Canadian Champion buckle. So pull on your cowboy boots and hats — there’s plenty to see and do in Edmonton during the Canadian Finals Rodeo!
