Throughout the day, guided tours of the building will be offered and during the tour you will learn more about Edmonton’s history, the operations of the municipal government, and the art and architecture that abounds in the facilities.
Tours depart at 10 am, 2 pm, and 7 pm at the Citizen and New Arrival Information Centre in the main foyer and are 1.5 hours in length. The 2 pm tour will be lead by City Hall architect and former Alderman Gene Dub who will discuss the inspiration behind the building’s design and how he was able to incorporate elements of the former City Hall in the new building.
